Alana Marie Holistic Healing – The Story

In 2020, a friend asked me to come on board in her business as she was opening a shop & healing centre in Windsor. I made the decision then, to close Candalana’s Massage & work in A Thousand Paths. I spent the next 3years, working as if it was my own business. In my time there, working alongside amazing healers, & incredible women, my experiences grew beyond just the physical massage as I took on Colour Image Analysis, Dien Chan & Energy Work.

Then in July of 2023 we made the decision to close, as I was going on maternity leave. When I finished my maternity leave, I had found a new home for my business & skills at The Reiki Nook, but this time as my own business again. When it came to relaunching, I was looking at social media that had been closed for nearly 4 years. I had to start from scratch & now I was more than just a massage therapist. The term on it’s own no longer fit me or my business. So Candalana’s Massage, became Alana Marie Holistic Healing.

In the year following the launch (or relaunch) of Alana Marie Holistic Healing, I grew even more. Completing new training in Fusion Healing Massage, discovering Enagic & their holistic lifestyle products, creating products of my own, including my beautiful self care planner that I am absolutely in love with. I then competed my biggest training & self healing journey to date, with Quantum Key Institute – an internationally recognised training facility with International practitioners of holistic medicine. My services massively increased, as did the ways that I can help clients to transform their lives not just their physical bodies.

I now have a beautiful healing space set up from a studio at my home in Mulgoa. A space that allows me to treat clients 1 on 1, hold group classes & retreats building community & connection & have an Infrared Sauna that people can book into & have the whole space to themselves. It really is a dream come true.

As a mother, & a business woman, my journey has not been an easy one. There have been sleepless nights, & challenging days. But every day I choose to recommit to my business & the people I can help with it. I found a new passion, through learning to reparent myself, while raising my son. A desire to help other mothers to heal generational trauma & break free from their parenting stories, so that they aren’t passing them down to their children. Every day I look at my son & am reminded of why I choose this work – to make a better world for them, where they can write new stories that they choose.

Integrity

If I say I am going to do something, I’m damn well going to do it & i expect you’ll do the same. I have a cancellation policy & I ask that you respect that, as I’ll respect your appointment times by not running late, or cancelling last minute (barring unplanned last minute wtf moments of course). I’m also not going to use, promote or sell something that I don’t 100% believe in. The modalities I offer are ones that I use for myself & fully get behind, because I think they’re amazing. You can also rest assured that nothing that we talk about will be shared outside the treatment sessions unless you have given permission & even then your actual name will still be kept out of it.

Authenticity

I’m going to be real with you. I’m not going to fake anything. I’m not going to be posting a ton of personal drama or crying online either – that’s not really my thing, (even when I am feeling a mess.) If you want to ask about something, feel free to message, because I am an open book. It’s also my mission to help as many people as possible find their true authentic self. I want to empower you to be YOU, because whatever your personal magic is, that is what the world fucking needs & that is your best self. Sometimes people just need a hand stripping back the layers of false self, conditioning & trauma to find that version.

Love

I am super passionate about the things I have found, what they do & how they work. I want to keep sharing them with as many people as possible. I love seeing my client’s breakthroughs & transformations. I love that some of my clients have become good friends over the years. I love the clients that come to see me on a regular basis because they always end up being my people. I LOVE WHAT I DO & I am so grateful that I get to do it & share it.

Holistic

There can be a bit of a misconception when it comes to the word holistic. For me & my business it means treating the whole & not just one part or in one way. I’m going to give you advice, exercises, meditation, water & knowledge. Even when you come in with a specific pain area, I am not going to do a quick 15min just on that area. I’ll treat all the areas around that area as well that have been affected, because that’s how you’ll get the most long-term healing. To me personally, it also means balance. There’s a time & place for everything. You’re going to see me have cocktails, coffee, exercise, veg, eat healthy, take vitamins, eat fried food, see concerts, hike, party, dance, fire spin & whatever else I feel like doing that lights up my soul at the time.

Freedom

I want it. That’s why I’m not working for someone else. I want you to have it. I want you to see the choices that you have & make the one that gives you the most freedom, for you, for your kids, & your future. This freedom also means that I’m not going to open public holidays, I will have time off over Christmas/New year’s & I may not reply out of hours. It also means that I will promote business opportunities that I think people can use with products or companies that I align with.

Respect

Basic respect & consideration is extremely important to me. Respect my time as I will respect yours as well. Be respectful because I don’t have to book anyone in if they’re being an ass. I’ll be respectful to you. I’ll speak to you with respect & I expect the same back. If you’re running late, let me know. If you need to cancel, let me know & respect my policies. I will respect your time, the money you pay for your treatment & your privacy & confidentiality.
